Hart Custom Tubbs Special Remington Model 700 Varmint Rifle in 223 Rem.

     Here is a very fine Hart custom Tubbs Special Remington model 700 varmint bolt action rifle in 223 Rem caliber with a 26" long fluted free floating stainless steel heavy barrel by Hart with a recessed crown and a bright, excellent bore. The work performed by Hart is purportedly known as a Tubbs Special and the rifle is designed specifically for 69 grain projectiles. This stainless steel rifle features an adjustable trigger and is notched and drilled for a receiver peep sight and front sight (neither are present). The rifle is equipped with a Remington green / Grey laminated Monte Carlo style hard wood stock with a Remington thin black rubber recoil pad, beavertail style forearm and the receiver supports a Picatinny style one piece base by Leupold with rings and a Leupold Vari-X III 6.5x20 cariable power rifle scope with target knobs and an adjustable objective. Mechanically this rifle functions perfectly and the overall condition is excellent. A high end target rifle at a fraction of the cost to have it produced.
