Mauser Trainer Bolt Action Rifle in 22 LR
Here is a very nice Mauser Trainer single shot bolt action rifle in 22 LR caliber with a 27" long tapered heavy barrel having a very good bore. This rifle has serial number 158824 and the metal surfaces retain about 95% original blue finish with honest wear and a few specks of oxidation. The smooth steel butt plate with the Mauser logo exhibits a brownish gray patina with scattered specks of surface rust. The pistol grip walnut stock rates very good with light dings and handling marks except for a faint crack in the wrist section that travels rearward from the trigger guard section. Mechanically, this rifle functions pefectly. A nice looking Mauser Trainer. {C&R}
