Ruger No. 1 Single Shot Rifle in 45-70 Govt.

     Here is a Ruger No. 1 falling block single shot rifle in 45-70 Govt. caliber with a 22" long barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This rifle has serial #133-67552 and was manufactured in 1999. The metal surfaces retain 99% original blue finish. The checkered pistol grip walnut butt stock with a factory red rubber recoil pad and the Alexander Henry style forearm rate near excellent with a few light handling marks. A previous owner shortened the butt stock at one point in time but thankfully, they saved the piece that was removed and it is now re-attached. This does show a faint interruption in the grain which consisted of a saw blade length of walnut. The length of pull is a wisker under 13 1/2". The rifle is equipped with factory sights, factory sling swivel studs and a pair of high edge steel scope mounting bases which are attached to the rear rib. Mechanically, this rifle functions perfectly.
