Smith & Wesson Model of 1953 Double Action Revolver in 22 LR
Here is an early Smith & Wesson model of 1953 double action revolver in 22 LR caliber with serial #9465. The 2" barrel rates near excellent. This 4 screw flat latch revolver was manufactured circa 1954 and the metal surfaces retain about 90% thinning original blue finish with a few specks of rust and the balance exhibiting a brown patina located mostly on the grip straps. The hammer and trigger retain most of their original case colors with honest wear. The diamond checkered round butt walnut grips with factory medallions rate very good with honest wear. The revolver features an adjustable rear sight. Mechanically, this revolver functions well. {C&R}
