Here is a very fine Winchester model 12 Heavy Duck slide action shotgun in 12 gauge with a 3" chamber and a 30" long solid rib barrel with a fixed full choke and a bright, excellent bore. The serial number on this takedown shotgun is 1683851 and it would have been manufactured circa 1958. The metal surfaces retain 98% original hot immersion blue finish with a few specks of oxidation freckling located primarily on the receiver. The plain pistol grip walnut butt stock with factory solid rubber recoil pad and 14 groove corncob style forearm rate excellent with light dings and handling marks. Mechanically, this shotgun functions perfectly. A fine example of a model 12 Heavy Duck shotgun for the shooter or collector. {C&R} (see photos)
